The hottest global demand is increasing day by day

  • Detail

The increasing global demand has stimulated the rise of rubber price

in 2004, the production of natural rubber in the world is expected to be 8.41 million tons, an increase of 420000 tons or 5.3% from the original 7.99 million tons. Indonesia increased by 2023million tons or 11.3%, followed by Malaysia by 189000 tons or 19.2%, other countries by 41600 tons or 2.7%, and India by 32000 tons or 4.5%

although Thailand has reduced its production by 46900 tons or 1.6% year-on-year, it is still the leading rubber producer in 2004, producing 2.829 million tons of rubber, while Indonesia, the second largest producer, produced 1.995 million tons of rubber. Malaysia produced only 1.175 million tons

with the soaring oil price and the market demand, the rubber price has risen. The development and trends of the rubber industry have received the attention of the government. The government continues to promote and introduce new technologies so that the rubber industry can flourish. In order to ensure safe production, new technologies have been introduced to increase production. At present, there are still many natural manufacturers in China that can not catch up with the level of their predecessors, resulting in manufacturers' over reliance on labor, which has affected productivity. With the development of science and technology, many fields are constantly competing, including the rubber field. In order to enable the rubber industry to continue to compete with other fields, the government has constantly advocated new sowing methods and introduced new high technologies

world rubber consumption

the global economy grew in the first half of 2004, and this situation also maintained until the third quarter. In September2004, the International Monetary Fund predicted that the global economic growth would reach 5% in the whole year, compared with 3.9% in 2003. In 2004, the economic growth of the United States and Japan is expected to increase by 4.3% and 4.4% respectively. On the other hand, the IMF predicts that China's economic growth will increase by 9%, while that of Asia will increase by 7.6%

the global economic growth will bring good news to the rubber field. In the first nine months of 2004, the total consumption of natural rubber and artificial rubber was estimated to be 14.655 million tons, which also means that the year-on-year growth rate was 4.7%. In any case, the data of the three regions, namely, North America, Western Europe and those classified as "other countries", show that the consumption of rubber in these three countries has declined year-on-year, from 0.1% to 3.5%. On the contrary, East Asia and India increased by 10%, accounting for 50.2% of global consumption, totalling 7.344 million tons

although the rubber consumption in Western Europe fell by 3.5% year-on-year, Western Europe is still the second largest rubber consumer, accounting for 18.3% of the global rubber consumption, followed by North America, accounting for 17.5% of the global rubber consumption

in a short period of nine months from January to September 2004, the total consumption of artificial rubber was 8.643 million tons, accounting for 59% of the global rubber consumption, while natural rubber accounted for 41% or 6.012 million tons

in addition to Western Europe and other countries, the consumption of natural rubber in other countries increased by 0.1% to 10.2% year-on-year. East Asia and India are still the largest consumers of natural rubber, accounting for 59.2% of the global consumption or 3.559 million tons. Other natural rubber consuming countries include North America and Western Europe, accounting for 15.9% and 14.1% respectively in the nine months

in any case, North America's consumption fell by 9.2% year-on-year, while Western Europe increased slightly by 0.1%, and "other countries" also fell slightly by 0.1%

natural concentrated latex has always been favored by consumer countries, so it has increased by 15.3% to 783900 tons in just nine months. East Asia and India are the largest consumers of natural concentrated latex, accounting for 588200 tons or 75% of the global consumption of natural concentrated latex, an increase of 15.6% year-on-year

the other two important consumer countries are North America and Western Europe, with growth rates of 22.1% and 18.3% respectively. Latin America and the rubber consuming countries classified as "other countries" increased their consumption of natural concentrated latex by 3.2% and 6.5% respectively. On the other hand, Eastern Europe fell by 30.1% year-on-year to 7900 tons. Whether it is natural rubber or artificial rubber, the United States, Japan and China were the largest rubber consumers in the first nine months of 2004. They account for 45.7% of global rubber consumption

at present, China alone accounts for 20.2% of rubber consumption, pushing the United States to the second place, while the rubber consumption of the United States accounts for 15.6%. The total consumption of natural rubber in the three countries is 1.72 million, and that of automobile manufacturers as the main body of pollution control is 4000 tons or 43.2%, and that of artificial rubber is 2.751 million tons or 47.4%. At the same time, these three countries have also produced 2.715 million tons or 44.9% of man-made rubber

the oil price of the US economy soared in the third quarter of 2004 and remained at the level of RM40 per barrel in the second half of 2004. In the first nine months, the average price of natural oil was US $38.3 (about rm144), while in 2003, the oil price was US $28.8 (about rm109). The GDP of the United States in 2004 increased by 4.5% in the first quarter, while it was 2.8% in the second quarter and fell by about 2% in the third quarter

in any case, the outlook for private investment is promising because it has positive corporate profits, strong business activities, and sound exports, which have consolidated the U.S. economy

during the period from January to September, when Yicheng Xinneng was designated as the platform for Pingmei Shenma Group to develop new energy industry, the demand for rubber in the United States fell by 0.3% to 2.287 million tons. In any case, the soaring oil price in the international market was not enough to hinder the production of artificial rubber, which increased by 5.4% to 1.686 million tons. In addition, the export volume of artificial rubber increased by 20.4% year-on-year to 821900 tons, but the total consumption of artificial rubber decreased slightly by 0.6% to 1436000 tons

Japanese industry has been hit by high oil prices and is uneasy about the future economy, while the proportion of oil prices in the United States may rise. From January to September, Japan's demand for rubber increased by 4.2% to 1.447 million tons. The total production of artificial rubber also increased by 1.4% to 1.25 million tons

the export volume of artificial rubber achieved double-digit growth, ranging from 10.1% to 453100 tons. In any case, the net export of artificial rubber fell by 7.3% to 135600 tons. Net imports of artificial rubber fell by 1.5% to 594200 tons

tire manufacturers increased production

China's economic growth in the third quarter of 2004 was a little worse than that in the early two quarters. Compared with the second quarter and the first quarter, the economic growth increased by 9.1% and slowed down by 9.6% and 9.8% respectively. If there were no unpredictable events in 2004, China's economic growth would remain stable

China's economic growth has prompted local tire manufacturers to increase operations to meet the needs of the local market. In addition, low labor prices have also stimulated the tire manufacturing industry to increase operations. The Taiwanese manufacturer, shangjianda industry, has a joint venture with China's coopertire rubber. The two companies set up factories to produce radial tyres

in addition, the Japanese manufacturer Shiqiao has set up a new factory in Wuxi City. However, the Shiqiao factory in Shenyang is undergoing a huge business expansion, with an output of 90000 units every three months. Yokohama, another Japanese tire manufacturer, doubled the number of automobile tires produced in Hangzhou to 1.4 million units. Sumitomo rubber industry began to produce rubber in Changsu in the second quarter of 2004 to meet the local and export markets

the consumption of rubber is expected to continue to increase in 2004, because the demand for rubber from local automobile tires is increasing, which is estimated to be 20% higher than the 60million units in previous years. It is expected that the rubber requirements for truck and bus tyres will increase by 40% in 2004, which is equivalent to 80million units compared with the requirements for truck and bus tyres in 2003

China's economic growth continues to improve, especially in the data processing industry where the automobile system meets the needs of experimenters for experimental analysis and special experiments. In the automobile field, the rubber consumption increased by 13% to 2.96 million tons from January to September. The demand for natural rubber will continue to increase by 5.1% to 1.145 million tons, while the demand for artificial rubber will increase by 18.6% to 1.815 million tons, because the soaring oil price in the international market will lead to the rising price of artificial rubber

the net import of artificial rubber increased by 14.4% to 82900 tons. Similarly, the net import of natural rubber increased by 2.3% to 871700 tons
